A 6-week course to help you stay active, stay connected, stay strong

 

The Live Well, Age Well course has been co-produced by community members and professionals, to support people to live well as they age.

We can’t stop the ageing process but there are things that we can do now to help us to age well. We can make choices that improve our ability to maintain an active life, to do the things we enjoy, and to spend quality time with loved ones

 

The Live Well, Age Well course will support you to: 

  • Learn about different ways to look after your health and well-being as you age
  • Try different activities designed to help you be more physically and mentally active  
  • Reduce your risk of having a fall 
  • Connect with your local community

 

  What does the Live Well, Age Well course involve? 

  • The course is 6 weeks long (in-person) 
  • You will attend 2 sessions each week (12 sessions in total) 
  • 15-20 minutes group discussion on a specific topic relating to ageing well 
  • 30-40 minutes of different activities designed to improve your movement and function
