Changes to how you vote in person

From May 2023, there will be a new law meaning that you’ll have to show a photo ID at polling stations before you can vote in person. You’ll need it for UK Parliamentary and Police and Crime Commissioner elections, but you won’t need it for Senedd or local government elections in Wales.
