Cardiff Social Care Training and Development

If you are interested in attending training to support you in your role, the team offer learning and development opportunities for paid and unpaid carers. Training is flexible and may be:

• in person,
• online,
• through webinars, or
• self-guided to learn at your own pace.

The team offer a wide range of training courses, such as:

• Dementia care, including communication and creating dementia-friendly spaces
• Fundamentals of care, such as managing chronic conditions, diabetes, and skin care
• Manual handling designed for informal carers
• Emergency first aid
• Neurodiversity awareness, including ADHD, autism, and Tourette’s.
